It is the basic module of the hospital integrated system: it collects and stores the information relating to each patient.
The information is used as the basis for all patient care activities.
The module provides for integration with the ER: patients visited in the ER can be directly accepted for hospitalization with assignment to a ward / room / bed.
In the event of trasfer to different departments, the history is recorded and timestamped. The Synaptron Hospital Information System is natively multi-hospital: in case of multiple hospitalizations they are stored in a single electronic patient file for a global healthcare record of each patient.
