Smart hardware design: the path to the best IoT and AI solutions

Digital systems design

Under the trunk always hardware glitters

We see the tip of the iceberg: man-machine interface. But nothing could exist without the power of underlying digital circuits.

The last decades witnessed giant leaps in VLSI (Very Large Scale Integration) and ULSI (Ultra Large Scale Integration). Nowadays billions of digital ports are squeezed in a few square inches, providing a mind-blowing processing power. Microprocessors, FPGAs and SoCs (System on Chip) circuit design requires very advanced skills, often beyond the traditional market proposals.
Don’t be afraid to face the hardware design challenges hindering your best goals: let’s design together your next business hardware.
We have decades of experience in hardware and PCB designing, prototyping and assembling. When you approve, we can produce for you at scale.
From concept to market. With all international certification you demand. We design from scratch to satisfy all required certifications.
Whatever your R&D team conceives, we can make it real.

Sensor networks

Wireless and wired sensor networks are all around us. Billions of sensors are deployed everywhere. Modern sensors are increasingly sophisticated: they embed pre-processing, intelligence and low power demand. We can now design sensor modules with minimal power consumption to control environments, factories, offices, agriculture assets and health infrastructures.

AI edge computing

AI terrific development led us to high-performant neural networks with cheap compute resources. We can now process data streams with small SOMs (System on Module) at sensor level with a fraction of the cost needed a few years back.
The “edge” may be the local network where we collect all the local sensor data and process them on site.

Robotics

Many types of robots are around us and help us in daily tasks. In kitchens, home cleaning,  agriculture and clinical labs,  robots perform tedious and heavy tasks for us. To power their engines and read their sensors, sophisticated electronic modules must be developed. We can design electronic modules best suited to your business.

Energy

Energy harvesting

Energy is all around us in many shapes. Let’s harvest it.

Every gear we use in our life needs energy. Battery technology is the most backward electronics technology branch, thus it had a boost due to EV market explosion. There’s much work to do in R&D to get to a small, light, energy, dense and quick-charging battery. In the meanwhile, much progress has been made in reducing chips power consumption while fetching the maximum computing power. We can design off the shelf chips working with very low voltage and consuming a small fraction of the power we used to a few years ago. Consumption is low enough to allow us to pull it from our surroundings by exploiting motion, light and wind.
Sensor networks can be designed to work without battery, run for years powered by solar energy only. In daylight, energy gets stored in small sized capacitors that are able to store quantities no one could had thought of a decade ago. Capacitors act as accumulators which power sensors in the night, transmit data and fulfil many other tasks. All these very low energy circuits must be designed with great skills to achieve these result. Let’s explore together how we can design them for your business.
